What is a Book Tasting?
Book tasting's are for people who love wine and love books. Think ‘meet the author’ combined with ‘a wine tasting’ and that’s it in a nutshell.
How does it work?
You gather a group of like-minded souls – maybe your book group, your wine club, group of friends and family etc., and I arrive armed with my books; The Wines of the Languedoc-Roussillon and The French Bed plus a selection of delicious Languedoc wines. Then over the course of about two hours I will entertain you with readings from my books, an overview of Languedoc and its wines and many interesting anecdotes.
Where?
I run my Book Tastings at your location anywhere in the Cotswolds. Further afield is also possible.
When?
Book Tastings are ideal for small or larger groups of between 6 and 50 people. All you need to do is choose a date and a time and leave the rest to me.
How Much does it cost?
Every event is customised just for you and the price will depend on how many wines you want to include in your tasting and how many people you invite. As a guide if you choose 3 wines and there are 10 of you and you are somewhere in the Cotswolds the price is £150. In other words £15 per person plus you have the opportunity to buy my books at a reduced price.
